Kids Club
Çocuk Kulübü
A weekly indoor club at our community centre — drawing, crafts, films and games, while parents catch up over tea.
What it is
A place for our children, every week
Our Kids Club runs every Sunday at the community centre. It is a warm, supervised indoor session where children aged 3 to 9 draw, make things, watch a film and play together — and where families get a regular fixed point in the week to see one another.
Drawing & painting
Themed sheets and chunky crayons for the little ones, blank paper and free rein for the older children.
Crafts
Paper plate masks, playdough animals, friendship bracelets and a group mural — everyone takes something home.
Film time
Cushions on the floor, lights down and a short film split across the day — a proper rest in the middle of the session.
Games
Simon Says, guess the sound, pass the parcel, charades and board games. All seated — the room is indoors and there is no running.
Story time
A read-aloud after lunch to settle everybody down before the afternoon.
Tea for the parents
While the children are busy, parents are welcome to stay at the back for a glass of tea and a chat.

We are looking for helpers
Weekend Activity Assistant
We need friendly, reliable people to help run the club on Sundays — welcoming families at the door, keeping the register, leading a craft table and joining in with the games. These are paid roles, one fixed day a week, and no formal qualifications are needed. A DBS check is required and we will arrange it.
- Registering children and speaking with parents
- Keeping children engaged and included
- Running crafts, drawing and simple games
- Setting up and clearing away
We look forward to seeing your children
Places are limited each week, so please let us know in advance if you are coming.
